The SanDisk MP3 Player Makes a Good Gift for Teens

I know. A SanDisk MP3 player is about as far from homespun as you can get. However, kids (and grownups) do still love getting one special thing, so I will be talking about the best kids’ toys and teen gadgets on the blog. Now, the key word in the previous sentence is ONE. Choosing just one quality gift for that special person means you can enjoy that “Wow! I can’t believe I got this!” look while still keeping Christmas simple and low key.

The SanDisk Sansa Fuze made our personal list because it is a lot cheaper than the iPod nano, is nice and small and still does a ton of stuff. We can’t shoot videos with the Fuze, but if we want to take videos, we’d probably use our camera instead anyway.

I wasn’t really that excited about getting what I considered to be kids’ MP3 players until I realized that the SanDisk Sansa Fuze is not just for kids. It is a great way to catch up on my “reading” with some audio books and has a handy memo option that I am quite excited about. I also like the storage capacity. You can literally store a limitless number of files because Sandisk made the Sansa compatible with its line of memory cards.

Now, I just need to figure out how to download a movie to the player, because I think having a kids’ cartoon on it will come in handy during waits at the dentist, trips to the grocery store, etc. The public domain files I found through the Internet Archives weren’t compatible.
